Group of patients with autism at Noro Center

Between 21 to 25 May 2012, families with children with autism in three counties - Constanta, Bihor, Salaj - participated in a training program in disease management. The 5-day program took place in the Pilot Reference Centre for Rare Diseases in Romania - NoRo. Children and their parents participated in individual therapy as behavioral therapy, sensory therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy, and in the group therapy in which they had experienced occupational therapy, music therapy and art therapy.
Through the participation, parents were trained by psychologists, social workers, special education teachers, physiotherapists and specialists on how they can act in everyday life to improve the quality of life of their children.
