National Forum for Patients Associations

On 13-14 March 2012 the National Forum held Patients Associations in Bucharest.
In opening the event spoke Mr. Tache Gheorghe, President COPAC. Then Dr. Vasile Cepoi Secretary of State for Health made a presentation on the results of consultations on Health Law: how to achieve financial balance, ensuring accessibility to medical services, hospital reorganization, evaluation and control of health care.
Dr. Vasile Astarastoae, College President spoke about the current situation in Romania and the values ​​and behaviors we need to fight.
Further discussions took place about health care reform in Romania in terms of Mr. Dr. Lucian Duta, president of the National Health and Dr. Florin Chirculescu  also have covered topics such as, access to treatment, care and funding for patient organizations, where presentations were Dr. Dorin Ionescu, CEO of CNAS, Dr. Aurora Dragomirişteanu, director of the National Registry of Volunteer Donors hematopoietic stem cells, Claudia Torje, director of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Romania, Cristian Lutan, deputy director Romanian Association of International Medicines Manufacturers, Doina Popa Association "Heart Kids" and Maria Brazdau, National Alliance for Rare Diseases in Romania.
On the second day of the forum presentations and discussions were held on topics such as Social Security, Private health insurance system and patient information map. During these discussions were presentations Dr. Claudia Bratan, Director General for People with Disabilities, Dr. George Paun, Chairman of the Committee for Evaluation of Persons with Disabilities, Amalia Teodorescu, transplanters Association in Romania, Petre Iulian, Vicepresident COPAC Dr. Marius Filip CNAS chief physician, Dr. Wargha Enayati, Managing Director Queen Mary (Regina Maria), Dr. Radut Parmena, Eureco Insurance, Dragos Zaharia, Vice President of Romania Multiple Sclerosis Society, Dr. Leny Caban, Luminita Valcea, Almasi Zsuzsa -Prader Willi Association from Romania and Adelina Titire.
