Interview with Dr. Ruxandra Draghia-Akli

Romanian Prader Willi Association and National Alliance for Rare Diseases in Romania since 2008 sought a person to symbolically represent the cause "rare diseases in Romania" as patron of Rare Disease Day. From the moment I first heard the Board Eurordis talk highly about about the doctor Ruxandra Drăghia-Akl, head of the Health Directorate of DG Research & Innovation at the European Commission, I wanted to know her and possibly propose this role. This year I wrote her and she accepted the role. We decided that it was good to meet and get to know each other because, no matter how many things are published about a person or an organization, nothing replaces reality. In this regard, we went to Brussels to get to know and for an interview by Sălăjeanul TV for Rare Disease Day 2012.
